Explore Baltimore

Explore Baltimore is a marketing cooperative established in November 2007 and now consisting of 84 companies in a very small rural village that relies heavily on tourism. The motto is “Ní neart go cur le céile” (strength through numbers) and the goal is to promote packages for a memorable holiday or weekend break.

Those who boast that Baltimore, West Cork is the watersports capital of Ireland are only half joking; if it floats then you will probably find it in Baltimore. The success of Baltimore is also based on the range, quality and boundless enthusiasm of its small and medium service providers in the accommodation, restaurant and pub trades. It is the gateway to the Islands and the great ocean beyond and a place called home by artists, historians, musicians and crafts people.
